For more than three decades, ArtiCAD has set the standard in design software for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom professionals — the platform behind thousands of designer, retailer and manufacturer businesses.

Awareness was never the issue. What ArtiCAD needed was a dependable engine for growth: a way to be found by design professionals at the precise moment they were comparing software options, and to turn that attention into sales-ready leads.

The challenge

Trade software is a narrow, considered market. The buyers are showroom owners, independent retailers and working designers rather than consumers; decisions take longer, evaluation is careful, and the search behaviour looks nothing like a retail campaign.

Success depended on building keyword architecture around genuine trade intent — and cutting the spend leaking into irrelevant consumer searches for kitchen ideas and bathroom inspiration.

The approach

We tore the existing paid search account down to its foundations and rebuilt it around the language trade buyers actually use. Every layer — campaign structure, bidding, ad copy, landing pages — was rebuilt to match message to intent, from early comparison research through to high-intent demo and trial requests.

Campaigns ran across Google Ads and Bing Ads, with landing page optimisation and full conversion tracking so every dollar could be tied to the leads it produced.

Five years of continuous management let the account compound: expanding into new keyword territory as the product suite grew, and adapting as competitors entered and left the auction.

The result
